Atari Vegas 777 CPU Board Troubleshooting

 

Unfortunately, we had to fight against some problems with the Atari Vegas 777 board. On our research and troubleshooting, I created this section for everybody, who needs more information to get the board running. Lots of information have been extracted from various posts from diverse forums and other sources aroung the world, which where completely distributed in many different places.

Atari Vegas 777 I/O Board Troubleshooting

 

We also had to do some troubleshooting with the I/O board and it took a while till we also got this baby running. Tricky components are the battery and the 2 DIP switch blocks, where you configure some important settings for the game. But from our experience, most problems where CPU related and didn´t have anything to do with the I/O board.

Midway Durango CPU Board Troubleshooting

 

Troubleshooting the Durango CPU board is nearly the same as the Vegas 777 CPU board, but there are still some important differences, so we also created this section here with detailed fotos and descriptions.
