Cactus Canyon - Big-O-Beam Panel Mod

 

Since today's modern pinballs are built with a big screen, we also wanted to have a bigger one for our Cactus Canyon pinball, and the journey begun of having a very nice control panel which also had to fulfill our high-quality criteria. Finally, we found one which perfectly fits into the game play​ and are really happy about the result. The funny story is that we already finished that mod before 2 years, but never had the chance to present it on our web page. More information in the review :-)

Cactus Canyon - Red Dead Redemption Mod

 

We just love the game Red Dead Redemption, which was programed by Rockstar games in the year 2010 for the Playstation 3 and XBox 360. Especially the musical atmosphere is great and we wanted to have this great atmosphere integrated into the Cactus Canyon. After extracting lots of sounds, music and sound effects from YouTube videos, putting them onto a SD card and modifying the Cactus Canyon Extended Edition software to support the new sounds, the mod is finally finished.

Cactus Canyon Rainbow (RGB) - G.I. Mod

 

A dream for every programmer: To control each single lamp on the playfield with a certain color and a certain brightness. With that in hand, you have the possibility to illuminate the playfield in a particular color, which fits to the actual running mode or you could e.g. create "Color waterfalls" and so on. After 15 months of development, we are very proud to present you the final version of the mod, so please check-out the review.

Cactus Canyon CvA2 Ring Mod

 

The CvA2 Ring mod is a LED ring which is placed under the green bumper camp in the left upper area of the pinball and will be used in the upcoming CvA2 mode. The ring itself will be controlled via the software and, depending on the game situation, can be turned on, off , can flash or pulse, which makes this mode very intense and fits perfectly into the gameplay.

Cactus Canyon Backlight Kit

 

One of our favorite effects on next generation TVs is the so called Ambilight effect, which illuminates the sides of the TV with a color, which corresponds to the relativ color of the actual shown image. We also wanted to have such an effect for the Cactus Canyon pinball, where the backbox of the pinball will glow in a color, which corresponds to the actual scene in the game - so the Backlight kit was born...:-)

Cactus Canyon Settings and Reference Guide

 

The Settings and Reference Guide is a complete compendium with around 120 pages and 200 pictures, which discusses the whole software in detail like all normal modes, all special modes, overview of all easter eggs, Tips & Tricks from the field and much more. It´s the bible of every Cactus Canyon owner and brings you the pinball much more nearer than you expect...

Cactus Canyon Sunrise Mod

 

We never released anything for the beautiful Translite, so it was time to change that. When we examined the whole scenario in detail, we noticed the sun in the middle with the clouds, and we started to work on that scenario. The result: We are using some lighting effects behind this scenario, which will give you the impression as if the sun would raise !

Cactus Canyon "Rescue the Train" (RtT) Mod

 

This nice train toy has 2 main functions : It will hide the ugly switch in front of the saloon gate and it will also indicate to the player to shoot the center ramp. This will be accomplished by 2 LEDs in the train : One white LED, which sits under an opaque steam dummy and a yellow LED, which has been positioned at the front of the train.

Cactus Canyon Audio Flasher Kit

 

To give the pistols in the game a stronger meaning, we installed in each speaker set a LED Flasher ring with a Shooting template inside which will glow when the rings are activated. Additionally, we replaced the gun flashers with much more stronger LED flashers for the perfect effect. More information on the review page.

Cactus Canyon Mountain Mod + Waterfall


Again a big challenge is over ! After a long development time and over 17 created models of our future mountain, it´s done and we are very proud to present you this great new mod, which doesn´t have all the disadvantages the original one has plus has lots of advantages. Cactus Canyon Audio Upgrade Kit


After we finalized the Audio kit, we started to spent some time to search for some speakers, which have the power to again fullfill our high quality standards. Cactus Canyon CvA Strobe Kit


Do you like the great "Cowboys vs Aliens" mode ? Then you should definitely check out that mod, which creates a much more deeper atmosphere when playing CvA ! A new entry has been added into the service menu for that.

Cactus Canyon Shaker Kit


YES ! So finally we have developed a Shaker kit, especially for the Cactus Canyon pinball ! We didn´t use standard shakers from e.g. Stern because they just didn´t fullfill our high requirements. Why ? Just read the review !

Cactus Canyon - Beer Mug Mod


That mod is one of the most addicted mods for the Cactus Canyon, because this mod will replace the original beer mug on the cactus canyon playfield. Our mod is completely hand-made and it includes an LED, which is controlled by the software and acts on different situations.

Cactus Canyon Gaming Station


The Gaming Station is a complete plug´n´play kit to easily play the new code in your pinball. It consists of all necessary parts and even lots of additional items like a USB remote control, a complete compendium with over 100 pages and more and you can choose between Standard and Deluxe Edition.

Cactus Canyon Fountain Topper


2 very nice, detailed and colorized figures right and left and in the middle is a real fountain, where water comes out and flows from top to down. Half of the way will the water run a water wheel and on top of the fountain is a RGB led with a free crystal ball, which moves around and produces  phantastic color effects...just cooooolll...:-)

Cactus Canyon Stagecoach Toper


What do you have in your mind when thinking to western ? YES ! Cowboys, horses, stagecoach and bandits, which are trying to get the stagecoach and we see a big gunfight ! This toper will capture exactly that scene in a very dynamic way by using 4 springs on which the toper sits plus red and white led stripes.

Cactus Canyon 3D Instruction Card Set


This is a set of 2 cards, which are made in 3D ! Unfortunately, you do not see this 3D effect on the image, but in reality, the geckos are looking out of the cards, directly into your face which produces an awesome effect. They also surely move when you look at different angles onto the cards.
